Welcome to the Rich Coach Club, the podcast that teaches you how to build your dream coaching practice and how to significantly increase your income. If you're a coach and you're determined to start making more money, this show is for you. I'm Master Certified Life Coach Susan Hyatt, and I'm psyched for you to join me on this journey.
Hey coaches. Today’s episode is short and sweet. I’ve got a true story for you, featuring a little girl. And this story is going to warm your heart, probably make you cry, and give you some excellent business ideas too. I’m sure you’ve got a full day ahead and so do I, so no dilly dallying. Let’s dive right in.
Here we go. It’s time for your two-minute pep talk. This is the part of the show where I share some motivation to get your week started off right. Okay, story time. A couple of days ago, a client was telling me the best story. This client is a mom, she has a daughter, a little girl, four, five years old.
And the mom walked into the bathroom the other day and she caught her daughter blowing kisses to herself in the mirror. I mean, how freaking cute is that? This little girl staring at herself, smiling, kissing herself in the mirror because she loves herself that much.
Hearing this story, I immediately thought, can you just imagine if every woman felt that way? Can you imagine liking yourself so much that when you passed a mirror, you blew a little kiss to yourself like you just couldn’t help yourself? Can you imagine having that level of self-love, self-esteem, and confidence?
If every woman felt like that, our world would be a very different place. We would have a lot more female CEOs. We would have a lot more female millionaires and billionaires. We would have a lot fewer women falling into spirals of alcohol, drugs, eating disorder, and other things that drain our power.
And you can just imagine how different your coaching business would be if you loved yourself like that little girl loves herself. Can you imagine that? If you loved yourself that much, how would that change the way you do business? Would you post more videos instead of avoiding being seen? Would you laugh even more and spread joy in a whole new way? Would you have a dance break in the middle of your workday instead of just grinding away at your desk for 12 hours without a break?
Would it change the way you write, the way you interact with clients, the way people feel when they’re around you? I bet it would, hugely. Today, I want you to blow a kiss to yourself. You can literally wink at yourself in the mirror and give yourself a kiss or do something that feels similar to you, something that feels like giving yourself a smooch.
Do something loving, something caring, something that makes you feel confident and powerful. Give yourself a pedicure. Give yourself an exercise break. Give yourself the nice headphones you really want instead of the cheap version. Give yourself something you really want, something that makes you feel like a queen.
I am not god. I am not omnipotent, but I do know this. If you’re the kind of woman who blows kisses to herself in the mirror, you’re going to be extremely successful. You’re going to uplift people around you. You’re going to be a very inspirational coach and you’re going to magnetize exciting career opportunities left and right.
Be that woman, be that little girl. Kiss yourself. Work on your self-esteem with the same diligence that you work on your marketing strategy because booberry, it’s all connected. That’s your pep talk for this week.
Alright, now we’re moving into the part of the show where I give shout-outs to my people who take the time to leave me iTunes reviews. So today, I want to give a shout-out to Laura Cable. So Laura wrote a review entitled, “My dose of badassery girl power. Y’all, if you’re not listening to Susan, you’re missing out. After every episode, I’m inspired to take action in life and in business. Susan has inspired me to find and use my voice.”
Lara, thank you so much for the love. I love you right back. Hey, if you’re listening to the show and you have something you want to say about it, you might hear your name on a future episode if you go into Apple Podcasts and leave me a review. I love giving shout-outs to people in my community so holler at me.
Alright, one more quick thing. Maybe you’ve seen this because it went viral, but if you haven’t, do yourself a favor. Go to YouTube and type in these exact words into the search field. Jessica’s daily affirmation. We also have a link in the show notes.
And go watch that video. I won’t spoil the surprise by telling you all about it. Just go watch. It’ll put the biggest smile on your face. It has 20 million views, and soon you’ll see why. I’ve watched it for years and you’ll thank me later.
Thank you for listening to today’s episode. I hope this episode has inspired you to be nice to yourself. I mean, come on, what a concept, right? Be kind to yourself, do something that makes you feel confident and powerful. Kiss yourself in the mirror because you love yourself that damn much.
It’s very difficult to run a prosperous coaching practice when you dislike yourself. That’s a fact. So grow your self-love and your income will grow along with it. Have an amazing week and I’ll see you next time.
