Drop the shield. Feel what you feel.
A brave and courageous approach to permanent weight loss.
Unhappy with your weight? I’ve got something you need to hear. Watch this:
BARE is a coaching program for women who want permanent weight loss.
This is not a cleanse. This is not a diet. This is a progression of steps that will show you how to live your life — and feel your feelings — without “needing” the numbing, protective shield that overeating provides.
Once you finally drop the shield, you naturally drop the weight.
That’s how it works.
Led by Susan Hyatt (that’s me!) a Master Certified Life Coach who has been featured in O: The Oprah Magazine and on national TV — you will join a community of like-minded women for 7 weeks of courageous action and personal growth.
Become awake. Embrace yourself and your life. BOTH happen when you learn how to stop shielding, hiding, numbing… and finally go BARE.
The BARE experience is for you, if…
: You spend a lot of time feeling preoccupied with your body, criticizing your body, feeling not skinny / sexy / toned / fit enough. You don’t want to live like that. You want to feel “at home” in your skin.
: You hate exercising, you never do it, or you force yourself to do it because you’re terrified of getting fat / fatter. You want a new relationship with fitness that feels loving—not violent.
: You eat a lot of meals in your car, hunched over your computer, in front of the TV, or in a frantic rush. You want to learn how to slow down and actually enjoy food again.
: You’re sick of postponing the experiences you really want—vacations, business launches, travel, adventure—until “someday” when you’re skinnier.
: You have friends who constantly whine about their bodies and honestly, it’s getting boring. You wouldn’t mind meeting some new soul-sisters who are committed to moving past all that negative chatter.
: You want to live bravely. You want to create a life that means something. You want to feel powerful and purposeful. You don’t want to feel perpetually distracted by body / food issues. You want to move beyond that. You know it’s possible.
This is a 7 week telecourse where I’ll guide you through my trademarked BARE process… with highly entertaining stories and at-home exercises for you to try.
Each week during the telecourse, I’ll show you how to upgrade a new area of your life—like upgrading your morning routine, upgrading your environment at home, upgrading your eating habits, or choosing magazines, blogs, and TV shows that give you more power instead of draining you.
With each positive upgrade that you make, you’ll notice that the urge to overeat (or obsess over food) will begin to disappear. As your life begins to feel better, your body begins to look and feel different, too. That’s the BARE process.
Telecourse dates: Wednesdays, April 5, 12, 19, and May, 3, 10, 17, 24 at 10:30am CT, all classes one hour. Attend live—or download the weekly recordings if you can’t make it.
4 one-on-one coaching sessions with a certified BARE coach. You’ll be paired with an amazing, caring expert that I’ve personally trained and certified so that you can keep the body-positivity and empowerment rolling.
7 group challenges to move you into a braver life with less shielding and more strength.
What kinds of challenges?
For starters: You are going to detox your closet and then shop for three outfits that make you feel hot — at your current size. (Because appreciating your body at your current weight… is THE secret to dropping down to a lower weight.) You are going to try six new forms of exercise. You are going to look at your naked body in the mirror with your eyes and heart open. You are going to take yourself out for a romantic meal. You will evaluate your friendships and the media you consume… and more.
[Everyone in the group will be completing each challenge along with you. Your effort is your own, but you won’t be alone.]
Access to the BARE Facebook community [your space to connect with women in the program ask for extra love and support on tough days. Every member takes a vow of privacy and confidentially. Your stories are safe, here.
The total investment for BARE is $2997. This investment includes everything listed in the breakdown section just above — including private coaching with me.
After making your initial deposit of $497, you can complete the rest of your payment in 1 or 2 installments. Whatever works for you.
And sister, if you are having major doubts right now, that’s understandable. You’ve already spent so much time and money on diets, detoxes, cleanses, gym memberships that you never used… and you don’t want to line yourself up for another disappointment.
I get it.
So I’m going to be completely real with you:
If you are looking for “fast” weight loss, a doctor-prescribed meal plan, a magic juice detox, or a coach who will let you hide or slip under the radar, do not sign up for BARE. You will definitely be disappointed.
However, if you are ready for permanent weight loss (the slow and steady kind), a coach who gets up in your face (in a good way), and a community of women who will encourage you to be stronger and braver than you ever thought you could be… sign up for this.
Work with me.
When you go on a courageous journey of the soul, like this one? There’s NO way you’re going to disappoint yourself or anyone else. It’s all upward from here.
My Refund Policy
… is very simple.
All of your retreat payments — including your initial deposit — are non-refundable.
Why? Because I know, from personal experience, how easy it can be to second-guess your instincts and say, “Oh, no, I don’t reeeeally need to go” or “Ugh, life is just so busy! Oops! Changed my mind!”
I’m putting my foot down and saying, “Nope. None of that.”
When you buy a ticket to a Beyoncé concert, and then decide you don’t feel like going, or it’s too far to drive, or you can’t find a babysitter, or whatever… what happens? You don’t go. You stay home. You miss out.
Are you going to write an email to Beyoncé and ask for a refund? Hell no.
Beyoncé ain’t refunding your money just because you decided not to show up,
or mismanaged your schedule, or whatever. That was your choice.
This may sound like “tough love,” but that’s my policy, too.
Respect your time. Respect mine. Say “yes” to the experiences that you really want, in life — and show up.
